Dr. Alex Coleman, DC, MS, CSCS

Dr. Alex Coleman is a Birmingham native who grew up in Alabaster, AL, and completed his undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Montevallo. In middle school, Dr. Alex discovered his love for cross country/track and pursued that passion into his high school and college years. His college career was cut short due to several musculoskeletal injuries and other health concerns that eventually led him to The FARM.

After experiencing unique patient-centered, rehab-minded care as a FARM patient, Dr. Alex began shadowing, interning, and conducting research with doctors at the FARM. Through these experiences, God planted this desire for an occupational platform to help people improve their health and achieve their goals. Thus, Dr. Alex initiated his journey to pursue a Doctorate of Chiropractic and a Masters in Sports Science and Rehabilitation at Logan University in Chesterfield, MO.

During his time at Logan, Dr. Alex was heavily involved in Rehab 2 Performance (R2P), a student-led club that aims to integrate the knowledge of assessment, diagnostic process, and treatment intervention taught in the curriculum and beyond. It was through these meetings that the pieces of the puzzle began to come together. Dr. Alex served as Logan R2P club president and president of the R2P National Executive Board with the sole desire of helping other students become the best clinicians they could be for the sake of their future patients.

In life, Dr. Alex aspires to live each day with the purpose of loving God and loving people. In so doing, he aims to educate and empower his patients in all aspects of human health to allow them to achieve their personal goals. For him, chiropractic care is one of the most meaningful platforms he can use to fulfill this purpose.

Outside of the treatment room, you can find Dr. Alex running, rock climbing, road biking, resistance training, or playing basketball with his family and friends.
